Corrosion Protection System – Online Register
Welcome to the NSW Corrosion Protection Systems Register.
This on-line application is the Public Register of NSW corrosion protection systems. The Register also
contains management tools and has been developed by the Safety & Technical Regulation team within
the Office of Energy and Climate Change to replace the previous paper process of registering and
managing corrosion protection systems under the
Electricity Supply (Corrosion Protection) Regulation 2020.
Since 5 May 2014 all registration and management of corrosion protection systems must be completed via this application to meet the requirements of the Electricity Supply (Corrosion Protection) Regulation 2020. This improves the efficiency and effectiveness of managing corrosion protection systems. There has been extensive consultation with the NSW Electrolysis Committee throughout the development process and we aim to continue improving this system in the future, as necessary.
